Many exhibitions are held in San Gimignano throughout the year. Here are some of the really interesting ones which you can attend during your stay in the Cesani Farmhouse:
- April-May: guided visits of the cellars in the area with local wine tasting;
- May-September: meetings and conferences (even in farms) which include tasting of typical products;
- Second weekend of June (Saturday and Sunday): “Fiera delle Messi”, medieval pageant with songs, dances and games;
- 10 August: “Calici di stelle”, tasting of local wines in the piazza delle Erbe where firms are present;
- End of October: “Giallo come l’oro”, trade-fair of the saffron of San Gimignano;
- End of December: “De excellentia olei”, trade fair featuring the new extra virgin olive oil of San Gimignano:
- 31st December: End of year celebrations in the country’s squares.
